• December 3rd, 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th, 24th, 27th.
• Classes are recorded and sent out after class. You do not have to be able to attend every class live to sign up.

This course is for musicians who want to develop the ability to reliably learn songs without looking up the chords. Whether you just love to cover songs or you aspire to be a live karaoke machine for all your friends, this course is for you.

Topics covered include:

• Finding the tonal center
• Transcribing melodies
• Transcribing bass lines
• Transcribing chords
• Identifying major and minor scale degrees
• Combining bass, harmonic, rhythmic and melodic information to learn entire songs by ear

Entering with a basic understanding of music theory, including major vs. minor chords and scales, will help you get the most out of this course.
