Welcome to the School of Song book club! 

Our next book is Us v. Them: The Age of Indie Music and a Decade in New York (2004 - 2014) by Ronen Givony. We are pleased to announce that author Ronen Givony will be joining us for a live Q&A. 

Online events for this book club will be held on zoom on the following dates:

  • Group Discussion & Breakout Rooms: Sunday, July 12th
    • 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM Pacific Time
    • 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM Pacific Time
    • (you're welcome to attend one or both)
  • Q&A with Ronen Givony: Wednesday, July 15th 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Pacific Time

Here's what you can do now:

  • Get a copy of the book (available in print and audiobook). 
  • Make sure you sign up for our book club email list.
  • Join the book club discord channels (for instructions, email hi@schoolofsong.org)
    • Post in the #introductions channel
    • As you're reading, feel free to post notable quotes in the #book-quotes channel, and any questions for ronen in the #q-and-a channel.
