Taught by Ted Case
Eight (8) 75-minute classes, twice a week. Limited enrollment.
Taught in a live, interactive classroom setting on Zoom
- Tuesdays and Fridays, 5:15p - 6:30p (PT)
- March 21st, 24th, 28th, 31st; April 4th, 7th, 11th, 14th.
- Classes are recorded and sent out after class. You do not have to be able to attend every class live to sign up.
This class breaks down the 14 essential chord functions behind most popular music, and how to apply them immediately in your own songwriting.
By the end of the month, you will learn:
- How to implement the chord progressions from songs that you love in your own songwriting
- Why the chords in your favorite songs sound good together
- What it means to play “in a key”
- Why certain chords lead well into other chords - even when they’re not in the right key
- How to get unstuck when you’re looking for the next chord in a song by making highly educated guesses to find the sound in your imagination.
